Long story with this one that we're working on the happy ending. We'll give the shorter version. Bryan bought this car in college in 2001. Another one of his childhood dream cars, being an avid Knight Rider fan. Owned for a few years, Bryan and Kelly left their wedding in the car and had many good memories in it. Sold in 2003 to buy a truck needed for his business, it got into the hands of someone who built a great engine but hacked the car to pieces to install it. After it was almost undrivable due to wiring issues and many other things, it was sold to another guy who became a good friend. He got the car running and drivable, but never really had the desire to sell the car. In 2020, we got the call we'd been waiting for. After cashing in some Bitcoin investment and trading him some parts, it came home. We promptly installed an FITech fuel injection system in place of the carb that was swapped on, lowered it and installed the wheels it currently has. In early 2022 we swapped it to a T56 6-spd in place of the automatic, but after only a few miles the FITech failed and filled the engine with gas. We managed to save the engine, but we were tired of the glitches that the FITech had and decided to swap it to the Edelbrock TPI we had sitting on the shelf. Currently sitting waiting a new wiring harness and the completion of the Shop Truck.
